Sessions, Funding & Fees

At Little Badgers Nursery we have 2 separate Nursery groups called Ladybirds & Butterflies with the days/timings as follows;

Ladybirds – Monday 9am-3pm / Tuesday 9am-3pm / Wednesday morning 8.45am-11.45am

Butterflies – Wednesday afternoon 12.15pm-3.15pm /Thursday 9am-3pm /Friday 9am-3pm

Fees

The cost for a 15 hour session per week is £97.50, should you not be eligible for the universal funding or wish to pay for extended hours. (This price is subject to change.)

Paying fees
If you are not entitled to the free entitlement or you are using this for additional child care, payment must be received by the end of the first week of each half term in advance. If this is not paid you risk losing your child’s place.

Early Years Free Entitlement for 3 year olds
Three year old children are entitled to 15 hours of free early years provision for 38 weeks a year. This can be applied for from the term after your child turns three until your child attends a Reception class. 

The first time that we claim for your child’s free entitlement you will be required to complete an Early Years Free Entitlement declaration form and we will need to see your child’s birth certificate as proof of eligibility.

You will then need to complete an EYFE declaration form at the beginning of each term.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have completed the correct forms by the correct date.

Free Early Education for Two year olds (FEET) funding

Some families will be entitled for free 15 hours early years provision for their two year old child if they are in receipt of certain benefits or have a significant need. Please ask at the office if you feel that you may be entitled to this.

Cancellation of place

If you wish to cancel your child’s place before the end of the academic year we require one terms notice. Please notify the school in writing if this is the case.
